Lahor mental Health Outreach seeks to provide a managed program connected to its community. Thereby driving the issue of mental illness/health as a necessary care plan. We believe in empowering our community to actively participate in improving their own healthcare through personalized case management that targets specific needs.
While mental health disorders can be treated effectively, prevention of mental health disorders is a growing area of research and practice. Early diagnosis and treatment can decrease the disease burden on mental health disorders and associated chronic diseases.
Assessing and addressing mental health remains important to ensure that all Americans lead longer, healthier lives.
Civil society organizations can also do more to develop and implement adequate responses to global mental health challenges. One example is to address violence against women. This also included working with local community leaders to address survivors' lack of emotional and psychosocial support.
Mental health services must be incorporated as a core component of health systems and must be clear in calls for comprehensive primary health care.
Most fundamentally, any response to the global challenges of mental health will only succeed if it addresses the problems' multiple social, political, and economic determinants.
Unaddressed mental health problems can negatively influence homelessness, poverty, employment, safety, and the local economy. They may impact the productivity of a local business and health care costs, impede the ability of children and youth to succeed in school, and lead to family and community disruption.
