About Us

Lahor Mental Health Outreach Inc. is a 501 © 3, nonprofit organization founded as a community organization to address the need for disaster crisis counseling. With its commitment to providing crisis intervention, case management, and psychotherapy services to low-to-moderate-income individuals. The organization has provided free services to over 25 clients in the Houston area as a good faith commitment to help underinsured or no insurance clients that suffer from depression or anxiety disorders due to COVID-19.


Subsequently, Lahor Mental Health Outreach Inc., with its commitment to the community, as a Mental Health treatment provider. Understanding the difference between traditional mental health treatment and disaster crisis counseling is how services are provided. Mental health treatment for people with an existing mental health condition or disorder usually happens in a formal office setting. At the same time, crisis counseling provides outreach to the greater community in a non-traditional setting. Thereby bridging the long-needed gap in mental health by positively impacting those who normally do not have the resources to receive the necessary help, to manage mental illness/ health.
